Public Apology by Sulejman Mehazi
“Dear friends, readers of various web portals!
On 24.11.2016, the Commission for Protection against Discrimination of the Republic of Macedonia has received a complaint by the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia against me, Sulejman Mehazi.
The Commission for Protection against Discrimination complained about my article published on the Albanian webpage “Minevra” on 10.08.2016 with a symbolic, metaphorical title: “Homosexuals ‒ Today’s Faggots”, and claimed that this text was offensive, degrading and discriminatory towards the “LGBT United” Association in Tetovo.
Therefore, I, Sulejman Mehazi apologize publicly to the “LGBT United Tetovo” Association, but my text does not even remotely refer to this association, not even to their whole community because everyone has the right to sexuality.
The purpose of the title and the text itself as a whole is metaphorical and symbolic, aimed at fraudsters, insidious and egoistic people who have achieved everything by means of educational, cultural, scientific and political clans!
And to you, respected members of the Commission for Protection and Discrimination in the Republic Macedonia, I say that this complaint seems very tendentious because nowhere in the text have I mentioned the LGBT in Tetovo.”

„Të nderuar, miq, lexues e portale të ndryshme!
Komisioni për Mbrojtje dhe Diskriminim i Republikës së Maqedonisë me nr. 0801-184612 të datës 24.11.2016, ka bërë një parashtresë deri te Komisioni i Helsinkut për të Drejtat e Njeriut të Republikës së Maqedonisë, kundër meje, Sulejman Mehazi.
Ky Komision për Mbrojtje dhe Diskriminim më ka ngarkuar për kolumnen, shkrimin tim publikuar në portalin e Shqipërisë gazeta “Minerva”, publikuar më 10.08.2016, me titull simbolik, metaforik: “Homoseksual-pederastët e sotëm”, dhe, se ky shkrim paskërka ofenduar, nënçmuar e diskriminuar Shoqatën “LGBT JUNAJTED,Tetovë.
Prandaj, kësaj Shoqate “LGBT JUNAJTED, Tetovë, unë, Sulejman Mehazi, i kërkoj falje publike, për shkak se shkrimi im aspak e fare s’ka të bëjë jo vetëm me këtë shoqatë, por edhe me tërë komunitetin e tyre, pasi çdokush ka të drejtë personale të orientimit seksual.
Qëllimi i titullit dhe i shkrimit në përgjithësi është metaforik, simbolik për të goditur mashtruesit, tinëzarët, servilët të cilët gjithçka kanë arritur suksese me anë të klaneve arsimore, kulturore, shkencore e politike!
Të nderuar ju, të Komision për Mbrojtje dhe Diskriminim në R. e Maqedonisë, kjo parashtresë e juaja më duket shumë tendecioze sepse askund në këtë shkrim se kam përmendur: “LGBT-në e Tetovës.“
