Monitoring of the actions of the CPPD on the protection of women from marginalized communities from discrimination – Monitoring period 01.04.2026 to 31.05.2026

The monitoring of the actions of the CPPD for the protection of women from marginalized communities from discrimination was conducted by the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights within the framework of the project “Equality Now – Strengthening Marginalized Communities for Social Inclusion and Non-Discrimination“, financially supported by Switzerland through Civica Mobilitas, with grants for civic engagement implemented in partnership with HOPS-Options for Healthy Life Skopje and Coalition Margins.

Monitoring period 01.04.2026 to 31.05.2026.

During the monitoring period, 61 complaints of discrimination were filed before the Commission for Prevention and Protection against Discrimination, of which 22 were filed by women (4 of them were filed on behalf of the child of the complainant, and 1 on behalf of the complainant’s sister).
