The government condemns Reis-ul-ulema Suleiman’s hate speech

The government is condemning each hate speech on the territory of North Macedonia regardless whether it was expressed on social media, at the stands, at congresses, at press conferences, said today the government’s spokesperson Mile Boshnjakovski.

-We have always condemned the hate speech and we condemn it again in this case – replied Boshnjakovski when asked about the hate speech on part of the head of the Islamic Religious Community, Reis-ul-ulema Suleiman Rexepi.

During the ceremony of placing a cornerstone of the mosque in the village of Arnakia in the Skopje area, he address the attendees with words that cause hatred, ridicule, division and intolerance towards the Macedonian nation.

The Helsinki Committee has filed a complaint at the Ministry of Interior for spreading hate speech on part of the head of the Islamic Religious Community, Suleiman Rexepi.
