Through its activities, the Helsinki Committee has been contributing to the advancement of democratic practices and climate in the country. The Committee has been continuously taking part in public policymaking, seeking to ensure a comprehensive process of including all citizens and democracy consolidation thereof. The Committee has been achieving advancement of the democratic climate in the country by means of active civic activism, programme activities seeking to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the solutions offered by the line institutions and by direct cooperation with citizens and civil society organisations. The Helsinki Committee shall, through a constructive and critical approach, keep on contributing to the achievement of one of the key strategic objectives of the Republic of North Macedonia \u2013 EU membership. Our activities shall turn to incorporation and enforcement of the political criteria, with special reference to the functioning of the country\u2019s democratic institutions and further advancement of the civic character of the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
